Jesus Metaphysical Teaches: Sermon on the Mount
Hello everyone, my name is Rev. Dr. Wanda Holmes and I wanted to share
some metaphysical insights from my heart to yours. These will be ongoing and I hope that you are able to benefit from them as much as I have.
Beatitude #5 The Holy Bible: Matthew 5:7 gives us this beatitude: 7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall have mercy.”
The Jewish people were taught to pray and wait more than 1500 years over 2000 years ago, that is what they did. No one dared to point their finger at the Mosaic law nor to question the priest or elders in the Holy Temple.
But Jesus was different, and the people were saying, wow this Jesus is bold. The people hearts were more open because to the words of truth that Jesus presented, was hitting home. They were being feed a new type of wisdom. So, they were more open to the next words of wisdom, this new way of being wasn’t so bad. In fact, it was good.
Jesus looked out amongst the people and said: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall have mercy.” Now the Jewish people believed in mercy and they were known for their hospitality, to their neighbors and sometimes to strangers. They said, we understand, we share what we have, to those in needs. Even though they had been oppressed for centuries, they knew to receive mercy; they must give mercy, even to the oppressor.
From the exoteric physical perspective; they executed the law of giving and receiving. They sought to give mercy/good to those who gave them harm, their oppressor. They understood the natural laws. Jesus taught them, at the level physically.
Being merciful was not rocket science, but for some people it was not easy to be merciful, but they pushed forward and extended mercy. The beatitude is about willingness to surrender to the loving ways of the Universe, even if you don’t want to, to receive beauty.
